Some organisations think that all-in-one tools are better than single-use tools.
They think that the convenience of using a single digital tool or platform for everything will work out.
These organisations have missed the wisdom of UNIX philosophy:
“[use tools] that do one thing, and do it well”.
Think of cooking or gardening tools: one tool, one usage; the kitchen utensil designed to do everything might average at everything, and struggle
to excel at a single task.
